Environmental groups attack World Bank for endorsing plantation plan

JAKARTA (AP): Environmental groups lashed out at a new World Bank report on Indonesia's forests Wednesday, saying it is an endorsement of a government plan to create vast timber plantations that would damage local ecosystems and livelihoods.

Diplomatic Visa PDF Print

Diplomatic Visas are given to foreign citizens bearing diplomatic passports for the conduct of diplomatic assignments in Indonesia. A Diplomatic Visa is only Single-Entry.


Based on reciprocity, Diplomatic Visas for US citizens are free of charge, provided that the applicant is eligible and completes all requirements. Other nationals must contact us at 1 212 879 0600 for additional information.


Requests for Diplomatic Visas must be submitted to an Indonesian diplomatic mission abroad, with the following items:

  • The application form (in duplicate) which has been completed and signed by the applicant
  • The original diplomatic passport with at least six (6) months of validity from the date of submission
  • Two (2) recent color photographs (passport-size) on picture-quality paper
  • A diplomatic note from related US agencies confirming the person's diplomatic assignment. For other nationals: a similar diplomatic note from their respective embassy/consulate.
