Tourist Visas are only Single-Entry. The Tourist Visa holder cannot enter restricted regions (Aceh, Maluku, and Irian Jaya).
In addition to the general requirements , Tourist Visa applicants must also submit the following items: An itinerary or letter from travel agents, airlines, ships, etc., confirming the purchase of tickets for travel into Indonesia. Please note that the visa officer may ask for a copy of the original airline ticket. A letter of employment, indicating the employment status of the applicant. Retirees must submit proof of their retirement fund. A bank statement copy, indicating the applicant's current funds at two weeks or less prior to the date of obtaining the visa US$35 fee in cash or money order (payable to the Indonesian Consulate)
Non-US citizens also need to submit a copy of their US permanent residency, visa, or valid I-20 from schools/universities. Please note that applicants with US tourist visas will not be processed, as they need to apply for an Indonesian visa from their country of origin.
Tourists from the following countries do not need visas to visit Indonesia. Per a Presidential Decree, which entered into force on December 17, 2003, the duration of this visitation is a maximum of thirty (30) days. It is not extendable, unless the Indonesian Minister of Justice and Human Rights grants approval on the grounds of natural catastrophe or personal disability/illness.
